Automatic fire suppression for heavy equipment
Automatic fire suppression. Built for heavy equipment.
Detection and activation without electrical power. Developed and made in the Netherlands, installed by certified dealers.
Systems
One platform. The agent that fits the risk.
Detection and activation are the same on every FireFix system. The agent is chosen per machine and per risk zone.

ABC Dry Powder
Fast knockdown. Every fire class in the engine bay.
- Best for
- Engine bays and hydraulic compartments with high airflow
- Action
- Chemical inhibition: interrupts the combustion reaction

Foam
Cools, covers and keeps the fire down. 100% PFAS-free.
- Best for
- Liquid fuel and hydraulic oil fires, smouldering material
- Action
- Cooling and smothering: a blanket over fuel surfaces

Dual Agent
Powder for knockdown. Foam for cooling.
- Best for
- High fuel load, high-value machines, mining and recycling
- Action
- Chemical knockdown plus cooling and coverage

Water Mist
Maximum cooling. Minimal water.
- Best for
- Engine bays where cooling of hot components comes first
- Action
- Cooling, and local oxygen displacement by steam

Custom Engineering
For machines that are not standard.
- Best for
- Special machines, OEM series, complex risk profiles
- Agents
- Combination of agents per zone where needed
How it works
Detect, activate, suppress. Without power.
A detection line under nitrogen pressure runs past every hot surface. When it gives way, the valve head opens mechanically and the agent goes to the risk zones.
- 01
Detect
A pressurised line runs past every hot surface. At the hottest point, it gives way.
- 02
Activate
The pressure drops and the valve head opens. Mechanically, without electrical power.
- 03
Suppress
Fixed lines carry the agent to nozzles aimed at the risk zones.
Industries
For machines that cannot afford to stop

Why FireFix
Built to work when it has to
No power needed
Detection and activation are pneumatic and mechanical. FireFix works even if the battery is flat or the wiring has already burned.
One-piece valve head
Monolithic 316L stainless steel with four outlets. Fewer parts, less that can fail.
Certified installation
Only technicians trained and certified by FireFix install the system.
Annual inspection
Every system is thoroughly inspected each year, so it works the moment it has to.

Service
You can plan maintenance. You cannot plan a fire.
A FireFix system protects machines worth hundreds of thousands of euros. An annual inspection by a certified dealer makes sure it works when it has to. That costs a fraction of what a single fire costs in damage and downtime.
- Thorough annual inspection of the entire system
- Installed and maintained by certified dealers
- Recharged and quickly back in service after an activation
- Parts directly from the factory
